Omar unhappy with Modi for not speaking about Kashmir in Maan Ki Baat

Srinagar: Former youngest Chief Minister of Jammu And Kashmir State Omar Abdullah today said that he is completely unhappy with the Prime Minster Narendra Modi for not mentioning the name of Kashmir valley which is under unrest, in his monthly radio address “Mann Ki Baat”.

Omar Abdullah, who is currently working as the president of the National Congress, mentioned on his twitter account, “How I wish my Prime Minister had found a few reassuring words for my state which has seen almost 50 deaths & countless injured.”

The valley of Kashmir has been in violent pain and wide unrest since July 9, a day after Hizbul commander, Burhan Wani was killed in a gunfight with the security forces.

At least 50 people including 48 civilians and two policemen have been killed in the violence while over 2,000 others including civilians and security personnel have been injured so far.
