One-month ultimatum to Lko schools to comply with security for handling terror attacks

Lucknow schools were today served with the one month ultimatum to comply with standard security set up for handling eventualities including terror attack incidents. Move came subsequent to the news reports doing rounds few days back that central agencies have issued an alert of a possible terror strike at a city school.

Lucknow district magistrate Raj Shekhar today gave instructions saying laxity on part of schools may attract severe steps like ‘cancellation of affiliation & legal action’

Earlier, reacting on the news of a possible terror attack in city schools, DM and senior superintendent of police Manzil Saini described it as `not credible’.

However, the information issued today has given schools something to be alert of following the terror attack in Bangladesh couple of days back.
