Pak-based JeM behind Pathankot Terror Attack: US Report

New Delhi: In a new development, the United States has given some documents to the National Investigation Agency related to the attack on the Pathankot IAF Base. The documents might all the more confirm that the attack here was carried out by the Pak based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.

As per reports of a leading daily, the documents has the conversation of Kashif Jaan with the Pakistan-based JeM office bearers. The report further mentions that the Facebook account which Jaan was using was connected to the same mobile number which militants has used to make call from Pathankot after kidnapping Punjab Police SP Salwinder Singh. Apart from this, the attackers also called on another number which is connected to a Facebook Account of ‘Mulla Daadullah’.

As of now, the NIA officials are looking into the documents provided by the US which also mentions that these accounts were used before and at the time of the attack using the IP addresses of telecom firms (Telenor and Pakistan TeleCommunications Company Ltd, Islamabad) based in Pakistan.
