Islamabad: On Thursday, in a shocking act by Pakistan, it blacked out Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s speech during the SAARC Home Ministers’ Conference in Islamabad. As per reports of a leading news agency, neither the Pakistani media nor the Indian media was allowed to cover the speech delivered by Rajnath Singh at the SAARC Meet.
Following this, Singh did not attend the lunch at the SAARC conference. Also, Pakistan’s Home Minister Chaudhary Nisar who had hosted the lunch was himself not present here.
In his speech, Rajnath Singh stressed on the topic of growing terrorism and talked said that terrorism is terrorism there is no such good or bad word to define it.
At the meet, Singh said, “There is no good or bad terrorism. Terrorism is terrorism.”
Along with this, he jibed at Pakistan over addressing Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani as a martyr. He said, “There should be no glorification of terrorists as martyrs.”
Singh added, “There should be strongest of action not only against terrorists but also against organisations, individuals and nations who support terror.”
Singh went on to say that he would go down hard on those who support terrorism and that just condemning terrorism won’t do and so one should act.
He ended by saying, “Mere condemnation of terrorism is not enough.”
Also, reports are that Singh press conference at the Delhi Airport which was to take place today has also been cancelled.
