Pakistan army violates ceasefire, starts firing at Indian post along LoC

Jammu: The soldiers of Pakistani army troops today started unprovoked firing at Indian positions in Jammu and Kahsmir’s Rajouri district near the Line of Control (LoC).

Defence spokesman said, Lt Col Manish Mehta, “Pakistan Army violated ceasefire in Naushera sector of the LoC using small arms.”

“Our troops have responded befittingly using same calibre weapons.”

The spokesman added, “No casualty or damage was reported. Firing exchanges continued in the area.”
