Pakistani troopers again violate ceasefire, fire at army post in Rajouri

Jammu: Pakistani troops again violated ceasefire today by intensifying attacks on Indian army posts and continued mortar shelling along with firing in civilian areas near three Line of Control (LoC) area of Noushera sector in Rajouri district.

According to police, Pakistan used 120mm and 82mm mortar shells to target Indian positions in Kalsian (Nowshera) sector of the LoC in Rajouri district on Tuesday morning.

Police further added, “The Indian army effectively retaliated Pakistan shelling and firing. After appropriate response from the Indian side, Pakistan army had stopped shelling now.”

Police added, “Heavy exchanges continued for over an hour in the area creating panic among the residents.”
