Panasonic kicks off new ‘Eluga Tapp’ smartphone at Rs 8,990

New Delhi: Japanese multinational electronics corporation Panasonic India today launched a new smartphone “Eluga Tapp” with a faster front fingerprint scanner at Rs 8,990.

This 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone features 5-inch full-HD display, coupled with 2GB of RAM and is powered by Quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz , 16GB of inbuilt storage along with expandable storage capacity up to 32GB.

The phone has 5MP front selfie shooter and 8MP rear camera.

Business Head-Mobility Division, Panasonic India, Pankaj Rana in a statement, “The fast front fingerprint sensor in ‘Eluga Tapp’ gives you a convenient way to unlock your device and secure your personal data. The scanner will be able to recognise your fingers and thumbs in a split second.”

The smartphone also have add-on security feature “Android for Work” that allows users to segregate the business apps from personal apps and protect personal data.

Rana added, “By introducing Panasonic Eluga Tapp we plan to make a presence in the tier II and tier III cities.”
