Panic among Himachal people following repeated tremors

Shimla: People of Himachal Pradesh are in a state of worry as they are experiencing the earthquake tremors on a consistent basis in the last few days.

Mild tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba region for the third consecutive day triggering panic among the people however; there was no loss of life or damage to property reported.

Local Meteorological Office Director Manmohan Singh talking to media stated: “Tremors of earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale were felt for some seconds at 6.11 a.m.”.

He said the epicentre of the quakes, like the two each on Friday and Saturday, was Chamba region, bordering Jammu and Kashmir.
