It has been 4 months since BJP came into power in UP.

For so many years, there has been no modification in the problems of the UP, as a matter of fact, it has increased during the rule of the regional parties.

There are going to be issues in getting rid of these imbalances, and time is certainly going to be a factor.

The announcement of Yogi Adityanath’s as CM stumped everyone but both Narendra Modi and Amit Shah had meticulously designed a roadmap for UP complete makeover.

Literacy has hit the rock bottom in the state with poor people and farmers were excruciatingly neglected. Attraction towards monetary investment is declining with every passing day.

At this juncture, there are four basic issues in the state.

To begin with, there is the law and order, which reached the pits with the previous Government.

The Yogi Government, has put in honest efforts in changing its situation.

In the past four months, despite attempts of the Government, it has failed to meet expectations. Attempts to curb crime rates has not been up to the mark.

The next big issue for Yogi Adityanath’s Government would be trade and commerce, and attracting foreign investment.

UP hasn’t progressed in the last 15 years while number of announcements were made by previous Governments.

Although the promise of loan waiver in the election manifesto of the BJP has been fulfilled but that has led the State to bear a huge burden. After waiving off Rs. 36,000 crore, it doesn’t have enough money in the repertoire to finance any new big project.

At district level, government need to ensure that public should be motivated when it comes to maintaining cleanliness and to organise plantation drives with active participation from the municipality and forest department.
