Berlin: The pilot of an ultralight aircraft spent night on tree after his private plane crashed on lofty perch 30 meters above the ground.
The pilot of an ultralight aircraft spend more than 12 hour on tree after rescuers were not be able to reach him.
The southwestern state of Baden-Wuerttemberg police said that unidentified man crash-landed in the tree on late Monday night fro about 30 kilometers (19 miles) east of Stuttgart.
The police further added that attempts to bring the man down from his lofty perch 30 meters (98 feets) above the ground had to be abandoned at nightfall because of the risk that the plane and its pilot might be dislodged and fall to the ground.
The 59-year-old was rescued by the rescuers unharmed on Tuesday.
