New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted some points while addressing the supporters at a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. He educated the people about the benefits of cashless transactions from mobile phones and also said that your phones can be your bank. Modi also made things clear that there will be a lucky draw scheme for all the poor people as a gift of Christmas and will start from 25th December in which all the people who make transactions starting from Rs 50 to Rs 3000 will receive prize money worth Rs 1,000 by lucky draw.

Modi went on to say that: “The lucky draw will be for all the small scale businessmen and not for rich people, it’s only for all those who will make transactions through e-banking starting from the amount of Rs 50 to Rs 3,000 and not more than this. Everyday Rs 1,000 will be given to all the lucky draw winners which will include 15,000 people and most importantly one time winner of the lucky draw won’t win again.”

PM Modi expressed his gratitude to all the honest people who stood waiting in long queues outside the banks and the patience of the people is commendable. He further stated: The fight against the black money is the victory of all the honest people and not the victory of any political party. History after some years from now on will remember today’s condition, not because of the Prime Minister who started this move but they will remember all those honest people who patiently waited for their chance outside the banks and the youth is extremely supportive.”

PM Modi further went on to say that: On one side the Congress party is claiming that some people don’t have cell phones to make transactions online and on the other hand when Rajiv Gandhi was the PM they kept saying that he brought computer generation and provided cell phones to all the poor people and now they are just changing their statement reason being that BJP introduced the note ban move and the cashless economy move as well.”

Modi added: The opposition party is trying to misguide all the people by giving contradictory statements against the note ban. They are promoting black money in the country by opposing the demonetization move. Yet, all the people are supporting the move and taking all the problems as they know that these problems won’t stay for long and this is for all the honest people of the country.”
