Poll dates for five states might be declared soon!

NEW DELHI: According to sources, schedule for the Assembly polls will soon be declared for five states.
It is expected that the schedule will be declared in the first week of January and ahead of the declaration of the polls dates, it is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi might make some big announcement.

Modi might make declaration in favour of common man giving them a relief from the demonetization move effects and this might turn out to be a New Year gift for people and also possibly will affect vote bank.

BJP is all set for a rally in Lucknow that will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with elections round the corner this will be the perfect opportunity for the Bharatiya Janata Party to get a slight edge over the other three parties that will be contesting in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the information given by the sources, discussions with the Union home ministry on deployment of Central-para military forces have been done and polling may get underway in February and stretch over 6 to 7 phases to end in the first week of March.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh, the terms of the Punjab, Goa and Manipur assemblies are also expiring on March 18, 2017 and with elections all set to be held, there are several political calculations taking place amidst workers and leaders.
