UP polls: Final phase sees 12 percent voting in 2 hours

Lucknow: Polling for the final phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections began today and there has been 12 percent of voter turnout in the first two hours of polling.

Voting began at 7 am and around 12 per cent of the over 1.41 crore voters came out early to cast their votes.

According to the information given by the poll official, Bhadohi saw the maximum voting with 16 per cent voters casting their votes till 9 a.m.



In Sonbhadra there was 15 per cent polling, followed by 13 per cent in Mirzapur, 12 per cent in Varanasi.
