Prime Minister likely to address nation before beginning of New Year

New Delhi: As the date of depositing of demonetised currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 is going to be expire on December 30th with a given period of the 50-day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address the nation before the beginning of the New Year.

According to sources, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address the nation before dawn of the New Year.”

Although, it was not clear as to whether he would address the nation on Friday or Saturday.

It is expected that the Prime Minister in his address may speak about the roadmap post the demonetisation period especially on the steps likely to be taken to ease cash flow that has been a major problem ever since demonetisation took place.

The PM will might speak on the steps to deal with the problems faced by the common people after the demonetisation was announced on November 8th by the government.

In his recent public meetings in past last few weeks the Prime Minister has been urging the people to bear with the pain following the government’s decision and that it would start easing gradually once the 50-day period is over.

Modi recently met economists and experts to discuss the current economic situation at a meeting in Niti Aayog.
