Here! Priyanka tells actual message of controversial T-shirt

New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra will be coming soon with her upcoming Hollywood flick “Bay watch” has apologised to the people whose feeling got hurt because of the insensitive remarked shared by a T-shirt she wore in Condé Nast Traveller magazine cover page on October 7th.

The tagline of the cover page was, “Bold and fearless, @priyankachopra makes a statement on 6th anniversary issue cover. #WhyWeTravel”

The former Indian beauty was accused on the twitter for this insensitive remark she gave with this T-shirt.

The message leaked on the microblogging site twitter for ignoring refugees, immigrants and outsiders and promoting travelers only.

But, after this controversy and misleading message which people take it in a wrong way because of not knowing the actual message and leads to misconception amongst people.

Piggy chops’, who is also an ambassador for the U.N. children’s agency UNICEF said that the message was given by focusing on the racism like xenophobia but it was misunderstood by the people and she is sorry for hurting the sentiments of the people.

Out of 100 women from all over the world she is also one of the most influential women amongst them, selected by the Time Magazine.

She said in an interview, “They (Condé Nast) specially got this (t-shirt) made and implored me to wear it. They said they were addressing xenophobia which is a big issue that is happening.”

‘Quantico’ girl said that the idea which the magazine trying to portray was not bad, “So their idea was that. And I bought into it, I guess. And I am really, really apologetic about the fact that sentiments were hurt…The point the magazine wanted to make was actually something good.”

In a statement the Condé Nast Traveller (popular travel magazine) said that the message was aimed at challenging stereotypes and how the labelling of the people as immigrants, refugees and outsiders is creating a culture of xenophobia.

Magazine said further, “At Condé Nast Traveller, we believe that the opening up the boarders and the breaking down of the walls can help us discover the world, and open up our minds and hearts.”

“So, when we had Priyanka Chopra wear a t-shirt we created on the cover of the 6th anniversary issue, we had point to make,” added by the travel magazine.

Since World War 2, previous year migrant crisis are one of the biggest from then till yet, around 1.3 million refugees and migrants fled war, poverty and persecution (human exploitation or harassment) and still fleeing, happening in the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere arrived in Europe.
