PV Sindhu win silver at Rio Olympics

PV Sindhu was today defeated by the Spain’s Carolina Marin in the gold medal match of the badminton women’s singles event at the Rio Olympics. However, it was great moment for the Indians as Sindhu managed to clinch silver medal and became the first women to do so for India.

Sindhu won the first game of the match but could not keep the momentum with her and it was a quick and better play from Spain’s Carolina Marin who bounced back to win the second and third game of the match and grab gold medal for her country.
