Rahul Gandhi terms Modi as ‘a selfie machine’

Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying that he was not bothered about anyone but himself and further said that people termed him a “selfie machine”.

Addressing a rally in this Uttar Pradesh district adjoining Lucknow, he said that though the people of India had elected a prime minister, they got a “selfie machine” in return.

He also questioned Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati’s silence on major issues, and said both were scared of Modi.

“Whenever these two leaders get up to speak in the Parliament, Modi stares at them and they sit down sheepishly,” he said, adding that the SP and BSP chiefs were scared of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) being let loose on them.
