Rahul Gandhi to be party’s face in UP elections?

New Delhi: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi could be the party’s face in the upcoming 2017 Uttar Pradesh elections. According to the reports, Congress election strategist Prashant Kishore has suggested that Rahul Gandhi should be made the chief ministerial candidate.

As per reports, Prashant believes that if party has to improve its seat tally, they should bring Rahul or Priyanka Gandhi for the big responsibility.

He finds UP as best place for experimentation and believes in projecting a face ahead of elections as it helps galvanizing the party workers.

According to the reports, if Rahul refuses to be the candidate, then Priyanka could be party’s face in the elections.
