Rahul sticks to his comments on RSS, ready for trial

New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today again fuel sparked to his controversial statement by saying that he stood by his comments that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) behind the killing of Mahatma Gandhi.

Rahul said he stood by his remarks that RSS men killed Mahatma Gandhi and he was ready to face trial in a defamation case over the controversial statement.

Earlier, on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi went on to say that he would continue with his fight against the hateful and the divisive agenda of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

In his statement to the apex court yesterday, the Gandhi scion said that he did not hold RSS responsible for the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi but a person associated with the organization was behind the killing of the Father of the Nation. Also, taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter today, Rahul wrote that he stands by every word he had said.
