Ram Gopal Yadav’s expulsion revoked, to remain national general secretary

Lucknow: The six-year expulsion of senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav was today withdrawn by the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Following this decision, Ram Gopal would also continue to be the leader of the SP parliamentary group in the Rajya Sabha and also remain the national general secretary and national spokesman.

MP Ram Gopal Yadav was expelled from the party last month in October in between a raging war between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle, state unit chief Shivpal Singh Yadav.
