Ravidas Mehrotra declared absconder by ACJM court

New Delhi: Ravidas Mehrotra, Uttar Pradesh Family Welfare Minister was today declared absconder by ACJM court for appearing to appear before it in a criminal case and he also managed to close 17 cases against him in which most of the cases were related to protests but one case was related for the attempt to murder. The hearing of the next case will be on 29th of January.

On the other hand, another minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh also kniwn as Raja has about eight cases against him including attempt to murder and charges of dacoity. The other minister Textile Mehboob Ali also has about 12 cases pending against him including charges of dacoity, attempt to murder and robbery.

According to the report which was published last month by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) round about 40 ministers are crorepaties. As per the reports 82% or about 45 ministers have higher education qualifications or are graduates while about 10 ministers have education up to class 12 or below.
