Ready to give away my daughter for fight against ‘Indian occupation’: Burhan Wani’s father

New Delhi: Curfew continues in Kashmir Valley following killing of the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani. If reports are to be believed, the valley which has been witnessing protests since then will see a new face in form of Burhan Wani’s father Muzaffar Wani.

As per reports, Muzaffar, on last Friday led a protest with thousands of people in Pampore district of Jammu & Kashmir. Also, hundreds of Kashmiris went to hear him rather join the march to Hazratbal in Srinagar which was called by the Hurriyat groups.

Recently, an umbrella separatist group comprising Syed Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik was formed and it had given a call for ‘Dargah Chalo’ on Friday. During the protests, Muzaffar Wani outnumbered all of them.

Also, reports are that Burhan Wani’s in his speech said that after sacrificing his two sons, he was ready to give away his daughter too.

Burhan Wani was killed in an encounter with the security forces on July 8.
