Patna: On Saturday morning, a Rashtriya Janata Dal leader was gunned down by unidentified attackers in Bhagalpur district of Bihar.
The incident took place when Vinod Yadav was sitting with few people at Naugachia market when six attackers riding a bike came and fired several rounds of bullets at him.
RJD leader succumbed to the bullet injuries on spot.
Prima facie it is a case of personal enmity.
Yadav was more popular as underworld don in Naugachia subdivision of Bhagalpur district. He was a criminal before he entered into politics. Also, he is called a ‘bahubali’ in the area for his power.
He played a vital role in the Lok Sabha and assembly polls.
