Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was unable to woo the audience this time and make his movie “tubelight” a blockbuster one. Tubelight movie did not perform well at the box office and as a result the distributors and producers of the movie suffered huge losses.
According to trade analyst Komal Nahta, the star has now agreed to pay for loses. He took to Twitter to announce this news in which he wrote: “Salman Khan has agreed to refund monies to distributors to make up for losses in Tubelight. A lovely gesture. That’s being human!”
Salman will pay Rs. 55 Crore to the distributers and producers of the movie for the losses they suffered.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in his upcoming movie “Tiger Zinda Hai” which is the directorial venture of Ali Abbas Zafar and is scheduled to hit the theatres on 22 December 2017.
