Lucknow: Samsung India today launched its all new version of My Galaxy application, an entertainment hub and life-services application exclusively available to Indian users of Samsung mobile devices. As compared to its predecessor, the user experience in the new My Galaxy application has been significantly enhanced to provide a unique all-in-one experience to consumers. The new My Galaxy application features an intuitive one page design for ease of use. The application amplifies entertainment with videos, music and gaming. It also gives quick access to services such as cabs, movies, recharge and bill payment, food ordering, travel, hyper local deals and Samsung Care, among other. It provides consumers the convenience of a single destination for all their needs with respect to services. Users can now do away with multiple applications, reducing memory constraint and need for many logins.

Developed completely by Indian R&D team at Samsung R&D Institute (SRI), Bangalore, the new My Galaxy serves the diverse needs of consumers through a single application that is deeply integrated with the partner ecosystem. Mr Dipesh Shah, Managing Director, Samsung Research India, Bangalore said, “The application has been designed to deliver a simple and seamless experience to consumers by a team of our users experience designers, tech experts and great collaboration from our partner. We strongly believe that it would help de-clutter the device, by bringing everything that consumers use their smartphone for, at one place with ease and convenience.”

A Unique Entertainment Hub:

The new My Galaxy offers differentiated experiences across music, videos and gaming, making it a unique entertainment hub.
Videos: The section packs in 42,000+hours of video content with a 3 month free premium subscription available only to Samsung My Galaxy members.

Music: In addition to a relevant catalogue of more than 2 million songs, the music section in My Galaxy offers 3 unique features – Galaxy Mocha, Galaxy DJ and Galaxy Mix. With Galaxy Mocha, My Galaxy users can set their alarm to their favorite song every day. Galaxy DJ is a simple feature that allows users to create a playlist as per their mood and Galaxy Mix is a specially curated playlist of popular songs for My Galaxy members.
Gaming: My Galaxy also offers a unique gaming experience. Users can now record videos, stream their gameplay, watch others play and even join and discover new gaming communities.

The new My Galaxy alos integrates key life services such as recharge, bill payments, movie ticketing, cab booking, flight & hotel bookings, live chat, hyperlocal deals and much more, all within one application.

The new My Galaxy is available for free via an update from 1st October, 2016 on all Samsung Galaxy smartphones in India with android versions which are Jellybean and above. The application can also be downloaded from Google Play Store.
