Sasikala’s political career almost over as SC orders four years imprisonment in DA case

New Delhi: AIADMK General Secretary Sasikala Natarajan has been given four years imprisonment by the Supreme Court and has been convicted in a disproportionate assets case.

Sasikala was until now hopeful of becoming the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister but now the path for becoming the Chief Minister has been cleared for O.Panneerselvam.

Supreme Court has also directed Sasikala to surrender immediately. Acting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam has a huge support of a fraction of AIADMK and is now very much confident to take the duties of Chief Minister.

Supreme Court today restored the conviction of party General Secretary V.K. Sasikala and three of her relatives in a disproportionate assets case.
