SBI launches Elite credit card

New Delhi: The State Bank of India subsidiary SBI cards has launched premium credit card ‘Elite’ today with a target of high network customers.

This premium credit card ‘Elite’ is launched on the Master Card World Platform and is allowed with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

The CEO of SBI Card, Vijay Jasuja said that this allows the card holder a contactless experience, adding more speed and suave to their wallets.

The card comes with a joining scheme fee of Rs 4,999 and customer will get a welcome gift worth Rs 5,000 in the form of vouchers from popular lifestyle and travelling brand.

Jasuja further adding, “We believe that this card will give our customers an experience of premium privileges that are unique and match their lifestyle. The launch of this new card will help raise penetration from 15 per cent to 20 per cent in the entire portfolio.”

The SBI Card which is the largest card issuer has total of 3.75 million card holders.
