SC asks Modi govt from where some people are getting lakhs of new currency notes

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India today slammed Narendra Modi led Centre government over demonetization of currency notes and asked that from where this unaccounted money of new currency notes is coming from some people.




The Chief Justice of India, T.S. Thakur asked the Attorney General of India, A.G Rastogi that how some people were getting money in lakhs and that too in new currency notes.

Justic Thakur asked the Centre that how some people are getting new currency notes when on other hand people standing on long queues are not be able to get Rs 24,000 in a week.




Attorney General for India, Rastogi said that some managers working in some private banks allegedly involved in illegal activities and government is keeping eye on such persons and will act against such culprits.
