SC directs Rahul Gandhi to serve apology to RSS in defamation case

New Delhi: The Supreme Court in its decision in the defamation case against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has directed him to make an apology to the RSS for holding them responsible for the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

On Tuesday, SC asked the Gandhi scion to serve an apology to the RSS or face trial in the case.

SC said, “The case must be decided on merits, whether what you spoke was for public good or not. You can’t make denunciation of an organization.”

Rahul Gandhi has been given time till July 27 to give a detail of his arguments.

He had accused RSS of Mahatma Gandhi assassination. Also, previously Rahul has asked SC to dismiss the case.
