Actress Shraddha Kapoor is known to be implementer of creative and novel ideas and this time around she is in favour of doing something good for the animals in the festive season of Diwali.
There had been several occasions when the actress had showed her concern for the animals, be it her pet dog Shylo or any other animal.
Shraddha this time took to the micro blogging site Twitter and appealed to her fans to not burst firecrackers, for the sake of animals.
As the festival of Diwali is coming closer she thinks her appeal would do great for many. She shared a video saying: “Diwali is coming – the festival of lights… not of noise and air pollution. Help keep the air clean and be sensitive to the animals on the streets.”
The actress added: “This is that time of the year when Diwali is just around the corner and I just wanted to say that please don’t buy fire crackers and don’t burst fire crackers. “Not only does it cause a lot of pollution but it also troubles all the animals on the streets.”
Shraddha has the opinion that people should celebrate this festival and spend quality time with family and friends.
