‘Skill development and Startups are supplement for Industrial Revolution’

New Delhi: Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said that our country is heading towards a forth industrial revolution.

At a World Economic Forum’s annual India Economic Summit, Prabhu said that, to promote startup’s and to focus on the necessity of skill development in our country, we need a right ecosystem and support structure which works as a supplement for the industrial revolution in India.

This revolution is taking place because of the assimilation of digitisation and technology advancement and this will leads to benefits all the sections of our Indian Society.

He said that “Skill development is a key area industrial activity should supplement. Government initiatives like Make in India will facilitate it in a big way.”

He further stated that giving a global outlook to our country, will not only help us globally but also to provide “local solutions to unique local problems.”

The Minister said, “While embarking on fourth industrial revolution, we need to take all section of our society along, must benefit people.”

“We need to encourage startups. Right ecosystem, support structures, encouraging ideas ahead of its time needed.”
