New Delhi: In this mundane life we rush to reach work place and one thing that we skip in hurry is “breakfast” but according to new study conducted it could affect our health severely than we might aspect.
The study appeared reveal that when you eat is as essential for health as what and how much you consume.
The research for over 16 years cocludes that, those who said they bounced breakfast were found to have a higher risk of heart attack or fatal coronary heart disease.
According to the findings of Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) study “Skipping breakfast may lead to one or more risk factors, including obesity, high blood pressure, highcholesterol and diabetes, which may in turn lead to a heart attack over time.”
The study which involved close to 27000 healthy professionals aged 45-82, free from any heart disease. Over the follow-up, 1,572 men experienced non-fatal heart attacks or died of coronary heart disease.
The researchers after analyzing found that men who said they did not have breakfast had a 27% higher risk of heart attack or death from coronary heart disease than men who said they ate breakfast.
The Researcher also found a connection between eating late at night and coronary heart disease. When compared with men who said they did not eat late at night, among those who did, there was a 55% higher risk of coronary heart disease.
“An easy way to ensure your meal provides adequate energy and a healthy balance of nutrients, such as protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals” the research suggests that one need to consume many types of healthy foods into your breakfast.
So, as study done suggests that bouncing breakfast and having food at late night might increase risk of heart attacks and coronary artery disease.
