Sony reduces prices of its premium smartphones

New Delhi: Indian subsidiary of Japan’s Sony Corporation, Sony India today announced that it has reduced the prices of its premium smartphones Xperia X and Z5 handsets in India.

The reduced prices have effectively applicable from September 1st.

Earlier, the price of Xperia X was Rs 48,990, which will now be available at Rs 38,990, while Xperia Z5 Premium will cost Rs 47,990 which was earlier available for Rs 55,990.

The features of Xperia X are it is equipped with 5-inch full-HD TRILUMINOS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

It has a 23MP rear camera and 13MP front camera, 64GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB) and houses 2,620mAh battery.

Xperia Z5 Premium packs a 5.5-inch 4K TRILUMINOS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

It sports a 23MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB) and houses a 3,430mAh battery.
