Baghdad: In a planned that has been carried out by the Islamic State (IS) suicide bombers at the headquarters of paramilitary tribal fighters in Iraq’s Anbar province, nine security personnel have lost their lives while 12 others got injured.

An official shared the information that four IS militants wearing explosive belts detonated the devices after a fierce clash at a checkpoint at the entrance of the headquarters in Garma town.

The attack comes after Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi couple of days back formally declared Mosul liberated from the IS after nearly nine months of fierce fighting to dislodge the militants from their last major stronghold in Iraq.
