Supreme Court issues notice to Centre on national security policy

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today issued notice to the Centre on a plea by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, looking for the framing of a cogent and clear national security policy covering economic offences as well.

A bench of Chief Justice T.S. Thakur and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud issued notice to the Centre as Swamy pointed to the issuance of phase three FM license to the Maran family-owned Sun TV in Tamil Nadu.
