Surveen Chawla first love is Punjabi films

Mumbai: Dancer turned Indian film actress Surveen Chawla who made her television debut with serial “Kahi Toh Hoga” as Charu, says that her first love will always be Punjabi movies.

Miss Surveen has worked in Punjabi films like “Taur Mittran Di”, “Dharti”, “Saadi Love Story”, “Singh vs Kaur”, “Disco Singh” and “Lucky Di Unlucky Story”.

The 32-year-old actress, “I am so happy and feel so proud to be a part of the change in Punjabi films… Punjabi films will always be my first love.”

The “Hate Story 2” star, further said: “I belong there and that is going to be my first love. I will contribute to it in any which way I can and then it also of course depends on the right roles.”

Surveen is currently seen in the second season of television drama series “24” starring Anil Kapoor and will soon be seen in the celebrity dance show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”.
