Mumbai: Bigg Boss 10 contestant Rohan Mehra was in the limelight for his aggression over Swami Om during a task that went to the extreme level with Rohan slapping Omji in the middle of the task. While talking to media, Rohan’s father Ravinder Mehra defended his son and said that whatever happened was because of Swamiji’s provocation that made Rohan forget his ‘maryada’.

Rohan’s dad went on to say that: Rohan respects his elders and addresses them as ‘aap’. It must have taken a lot of provocation for him to forget his maryada.” Speaking about Rohan, he said that Rohan is a really focussed boy and the reason behind that is, “He was the national-level tennis champion and has done two Bollywood movies.”

He further went on to say that: “Being a sportsperson, Rohan’s very focussed on the tasks and was irritated with Swami Om for his unwanted interference which was against the rules. Besides, it was Swami Om who got violent first, injuring Rohan and Manveer. He even started stripping in front of female contestants and urinated in the kitchen. Rohan is only doing this show because Salman Khan is hosting it, otherwise there is no reason to tolerate such contestants.”

He was outraged on Swami Om’s behaviour and said that Rohan managed to control himself even after Swamiji tried to provoke him through various means but when Om crossed all his limits that was the time Rohan could not stay back patiently and reacted.

When he was asked about Rohan’s quick decision of leaving the show as soon as Bigg Boss nominated him for the entire season as a punishment and to this Mr Mehra further added on: “Rohan is a child. The makers have had a word with him and he understands that he is contractually bound to the show. I’m sure you’ll see the Swami dancing in the next episode.”
