Actress Taapsee Pannu today decided to be part of a social awareness initiative to mark the multi-tasking potential that women possess in general.
Taapse has united with beauty retailer Nykaa’s #BreakTheHashtag campaign. In a video for it, Taapsee celebrates her many roles as a fighter, rebel, engineer and actor, breaking the typecast that women are seen and confined by a single role.
She mentioned in media: “As women, we play a different role every hour of the day. Not only are we a homemaker, wife, sister, daughter, we’re also entrepreneurs, the boss, actors. So let’s just break the hashtag.”
Nykaa initiated the first leg of this campaign previous year with Soha Ali Khan and Shaurya Sandhya to distribute the awareness on this subject. Actress has in the recent past given the stupendous works like “Pink” and “Naam Shabana”.
