Targeting of liquor bars adversely affected Kerala’s tourism industry

Thiruvananthapuram: Tourism Minister Kerala A.C. Moideen today stated that targeting of liquor bars in the state by the previous government has adversely affected tourism industry of the state.

Moideen wrote to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Excise Minister T.P. Ramakrishnan that the decline in Kerala’s reputation as a top business conference destination is on account of the government policy taking a dim view of the liquor trade and consumption.
