There are many people who can handle a fever up to 104 degree Celsius but when it comes to things like dizziness, running nose, sore throat, feeling weakness, coughing and congestion, just take me up! Oh God I cannot Handle this!
What is this and why this happens?
Normally when we are busy in our work and sometime knowingly and sometime unknowingly swallow mucus, which should be blown off, start producing more and more and which leads to mucus starts dripping from the back of our nose, which cause Post-nasal drip.
Reason behind this can be common cold, flu, allergies, sinus infection, cold temperature, excessively dry air, spicy food and many more.
What is important now are the solutions:
Salt Water solution:
Sounds irritating right? But one of the best solution to prevent from post-nasal drip
Add ½ teaspoon of salt
Add to 1 cup of warm water
Gargle with this solution for 3 to 4 says daily for 2 to 3 times.
Inhale hot steam
Heat water, until it starts evaporating
Put it into a bowl
Start inhaling, to block steam, get a towel and drape it over your head
Do this, for 10 minutes, then blow the excess mucus
Try to do this 3 to 4 time daily in a day.
(A nice warm shower will also help you to break up the mucus)
Garlic Grand Entry
I feel like vomiting!
Contain powerful antibiotic properties, prevent from excess mucus and infection.
Chew raw garlic, few times a day
Ok, ok roast 4, 5 cloves with 1 tablespoon of clarified butter
Then, eat them with warm milk for few days.
I hope this will help you out.
Always try to first use home remedies instead of directly heading towards a medical shop or a doctor, no it is not a bad idea if you are suffering from the same problem after using such remedies and if it is been more than 1 week.
But try to eat healthy things and things which contain a solution to your day to day problems. No need to waste excess money to get rid of excess mucus every time, right?
