Three-storey building collapsed in Mumbai; three killed, several trapped

Mumbai: A mishap happened in Mumbai on Saturday afternoon, where a three-storey building collapsed in which three persons were killed and several are still trapped, as per civic officials.

According to fire brigade official, five persons were rescued from the debris of the building in Kamathipura area of Grant Road, which caved in at around 2 pm.

However, Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation disaster control room informed that two of the injured succumbed to injures at JJ hospital and Nair hospital. The other injured is in critical condition.

As per reports, eight fire engines and three ambulances were pressed into rescue operation.
