Time has come for everyone to Embrace e-banking, mobile banking: Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today urged people of the country to embrace e-banking and mobile banking for cashless transactions and asked the youth to go digital for the benefit of the nation.

“Time has come for everyone, particularly my young friends, to embrace e-banking, mobile banking and more such technology,” Modi said in a tweet before his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio address to the nation.

“My mobile… My bank… My wallet,” Modi said.

The central government took a decision to demonetise old Rs 500 and 1,000 notes to put a stop on black money holders on November 8.
