Have told Delhi Police to act with caution on Ramjas, says Rajnath Singh

Varanasi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh today talking to media stated that he had a talk with Delhi Police regarding the scenario taking place at the Ramjas College following the clash.

Rajnath Singh further said that he had asked Delhi Police to act with caution in the matter to ensure everything is in place.

Home Minister stated: “I have told Delhi Police to practice restraint so that nothing goes wrong. I am constantly in touch with the police commissioner.”

Earlier, there were violent clashes few days back at the Delhi University’s Ramjas College. There were allegations made on ABVP members that they were responsible for the cancellation of a seminar.

There were also accusations made that the Delhi Police didn’t put enough efforts to limit the ABVP activists and for assaulting students and journalists.
