Uttar Pradesh: It is a common practice that as soon as the government changes at the state level, administrative and police officials pack their bags and move out with the new government following their transfer orders.

According to the information given by the sources, the Uttar Pradesh government is yet again likely to transfer officials in the next 48 hours which will include DGP to Chief Secretary to IAS officers.

In a meeting held in Delhi where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP President Amit Shah decided to implement the transfer by today within few hours.

Earlier than this, the central government decided to transfer nine IAS officers that included the suspended IAS officer Abhishek Singh.

Singh was suspended in October by UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for allegedly treating a Dalit teacher in an “inhuman” manner in Mathura district.
