Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ enters 100 crore club

Mumbai: Filmmaker David Dhawan successfully recreated the magic with his son Varun Dhawan at the box office. Yes, ‘Judwaa 2’ has made it to the 100 crore club.

‘Judwaa 2’ entered the 100 crore club on Friday and it has become Varun’s second film after ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ which has crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore.

The movie has opened at a higher note and crossed Rs 50 crore mark in its opening weekend.

According to report, ‘Judwaa 2’ minted Rs 4.25 crore on Friday, thus making the total Rs102.33 crore. The movie gained the third spot in the list of highest openers of 2017.

Apart from Varun, ‘Judwaa 2’ stars Tapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in female leads.

The movie is the reprised version of 1997 Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha starrer ‘Judwaa’.
