Virat Kohli post emotional message on Father’s Day

New Delhi:  On the occasion on Father’s Day, India Test Skipper Virat Kohli shared an adorable picture with this father on the social media. Along with the picture, Kohli also wrote an emotional message for his father.

Kohli, one of the best batsmen named in all forms of cricket, played for Delhi in 2006 on the day his father passed away. A teenager at that time played an unbeaten innings and scoring 90 runs, thus making his team emerge victorious.

Talking about the most difficult phase of his, Kohli in his interview to a daily had once said, “I still remember the night my father passed away as it was the hardest time in my life. But the call to play the morning after my father’s death came instinctively to me. For me, not completing a cricket game was equivalent to committing a sin. Importance that cricket holds in my life is above everything else.”

He further said that the incident made him strong and also gave him a chance to stay firm no matter what circumstances.
