PATNA: Continuous pressure against the controversial deputy Tejashwi Yadav is making the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar think several times before taking any move further. Former had a conversation with latter for several minutes regarding the continuing inundation of disclosures of assets.
Tejashwi till now had been avoiding the discussion on the issue and was with the CM for around 40 minutes after a meeting of the state cabinet.
The interaction came on a day when BJP leader Sushil Modi released details of 26 properties allegedly acquired by the 27-year-old Tejashwi, putative successor of RJD boss Lalu Prasad, without having any known source of income.
Furnishing land registration documents, Modi alleged that 13 properties in Patna and Gopalganj were registered in Tejashwi’s name, while the remaining 13 were owned by companies in which he is either a director or a shareholder.
