New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal today attacked BJP government with his fierce statement blaming government for “politicising” the issue of surgical strikes carried by Indian army across the LOC.
Fueling up the war of words between ruling party and Congress, Sibal attacked the BJP president Amit Shah following his statement in which he took on the Congress party associating their disappointment over surgical strike with Pakistan.
Congress leader further added that the bilateral relation between India and Pakistan today would not had been so complex if BJP in his earlier regime had not released Masood Azhar, the man who created terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Sibal slammed BJP by saying “Who created JeM? BJP did.”
Sibal feels success of surgical strike must be credited to Indian army and should not be credited to PM Modi.
He while attending a press conference said “Stop putting up these posters claiming credit, it was Army who should be hailed so stop this politics.”
Congress leader narrated earlier instances when Indian army carried out similar operation along with Line of Control as he took over the comment of Amit Shah which claimed that Indian Army took this operation first time for ever in Indian history.
In response to Amit Shah the senior leader of Congress Kapil Sibal said “India’s history doesn’t start from 2014”.
