New Delhi: In a shocking incident a former Director General of corporate affairs ministry B.K. Bansal today commits suicide along with his 25-year-old son at his resident.
The former bureaucrat was accused of corruption charges and was facing probe by the CBI officials.
Bansal was arrested by the CBI in July for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 9 lakhs from a representative of a Mumbai firm for not to order an investigation into allegations that it had duped 24, 000 investors of Rs 176 crores.
Earlier, about more than a month back Bansal’s 58-year-old wife Satya Bala and daughter Neha, 28, were found hanging from ceiling fans of two rooms at Neelkanth Apartment in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area in July.
