Will resign from Rajya Sabha, if not allowed to speak: Mayawati

New Delhi: Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati got furious by the limited time she was given to speak in the Rajya Sabha today threatened to quit from Rajya Sabha.

Mayawati went out of the Rajya Sabha today declaring that she needs time to say things for the benefit of the dalits and said that regular violence is been done on Dalits in Uttar Pradesh.

“If I am not allowed to speak right now, I will resign right away. I will come and give my resignation right now, if I am not allowed to speak right now,” said the furious Bahujan Samaj Party leader, demanding to be allowed to speak on Dalits being targeted in Saharanpur.

After the former UP chief minister walked out, opposition parties raises slogans and disrupted house, forcing an adjournment.

To this reaction of Mayawati, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that she “must apologise” for the fact that she had been disrespectful in the house and has dared to challenge the Chair.
